Avengers: Endgame comes out in 29 days, and my wife and I are three movies into a rewatch of the 21 films currently in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but that isn’t the crazy thing this blog post is about. No, the crazy thing that this blog post is about is an idea I have for a crowdsourced, prestige-format podcast for the MCU that will launch on April 5th and release daily up to April 25th, the day before Endgame.
Basically, I’m looking for folks to answer just a few questions about an MCU film of their choosing (or as many of them as they would like!), and then I plan to edit together as many of those answers as I can so that each movie gets its own episode of the show.
This is going to be a heck of a lot of editing, but if I get the submissions I need I think I can make it work so that we come out the other side with a great show to listen to in the weeks leading up to Endgame.
I’ve already got a lot of the pieces planned out, now I’m just looking for submissions. If you would be interested in adding your voice to this project, check out the formal write- up for the questions and the submission process.
The more people contributing the better, so please do reach out if you are a fan of any of the MCU movies, and we can make something awesome together. The questions to answer are pretty straightforward, and rewatching the movie you want to talk about is absolutely not a requirement. All-in-all, it’ll probably take you less than half an hour to help be a part of this.
Thanks for checking this out, and I hope you’ll be able to participate. In the meantime, follow @CastersAssemble on twitter to be sure you are able to listen to the show when it launches!
