Journaling is hard

Well, oops. It’s been a few days. Had some down days, some sleepy days, and some plain old “I don’t wanna days”.

Anyway, done a bunch. Watched more ER with my wife, more Ultimate Spider-Man with the kiddo, and the most recent episode of my favorite TV junk food, Below Deck. Last night we also watched the first episode of Chef vs Snack on Netflix. A run show, but Claire not being part of it feels dirty.

I played a little bit of loads of game since last post:

  • Final Fantsy XII
  • Borderlands 2
  • Dark Souls III
  • The Case of the Golden Idol
  • Onion Assault
  • Maximus 2
  • Pokemon Crown
  • Transformers: Battlegrounds
  • Tinykin
  • Full Metal Furies
  • Jedi Outcast
  • Pokemon Conquest
  • Warhammer 40k Space Wolf
  • Immortality
  • Moonscars
  • Uncharted 2
  • Kingdom Hearts 3

… I think that’s it. So, yeah… the whole “if I journal maybe I can be more focused with what I play idea is still up in the air.

Of those, I actually rolled credits on Tinykin and Immortality. Both had really weird endings. I loved the end of Tinykin, and the end of Immortality left me with more questions than answers.

I’ve got a lot of writing I want to get done that I just haven’t felt motivated to do. I’ve got some impressions and reviews that I’m hoping to pick away at this week, and I think I want to write something about “features I wish every game had”, inspired by Transformers: Battlegrounds inclusion of an interface scale option.

I also need to record my final Game of the Year episode for the podcast. I might also write a silly “alternative awards” post for Geek to Geek Media.
